I have now lived in Arizona for 46 years, longer than in Ca. I am still proud of being 4th generation and my kids being 5th generation. Although they were young when we moved her, they all think the are native Arizonians. I retired when my first husband and I divorced. We had our business at the time. I remarried (big mistake)and we lived in Payson, Az. for 8 years, came back to Phx. and divorced. I now live in a Retirement community in Peoria. I am very happy here, except in the summer! My community is predominately "snow birds", so they are only here from Oct. to Jan. and out of here by the end of April, before the heat. If i had a cool place to go I would leave in the summer. I have found that the older I get the harder it is to take the hot summers. I am happy and have met, over the years, some very good friends. Tried a Travel school back in the 90's. Timing was wrong -- computers and airlines and travel companies went on the internet and that did it for private travel agents. I have also enjoyed traveling over the years
