After Graduating in 1958, I attended Colorado School of Mines and graduated in 1962 with a degree in .Geological Engineering. I then worked out of Phoenix, AZ in the heavy engineering construction business for 30 years for the Kiewit Companies out of Omaha. I was in the field for about 10 years as a project engineer and project manager, and then came in to the district office as the chief engineer for the district which covered the states east of the three coast states. I retired from that career in 1992, (30 years of 6 days/wk and long days is constraining.) I then went to Arizona State University and studied archaeology and anthropology and earned an MA in 1997. My field work was 3 seasons in Romania, my thesis in the North Jordan Valley in Jordan and Israel, and several digs in AZ. I then taught an archaeology survey course at a college in Phoenix for a few years. We moved to Del Mar in 2001, and I began lecturing at SD Oasis Institute where I eventually became chairman of the board of that institution. My research specialties are peopling of the world, Near Eastern Archaeology, and human origins. I stepped down from that post this year, but I continue to lecture there in social sciences, physical and biological sciences, and religion. I have been married for over 50 years and have three adult sons and two grand children.
