Bonnie Jean Bruce Bosze died suddenly on Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at St. Vincent 's Hospital in Fairfield, CT. She was 66 years old.

Bonnie Jean Bruce was born July 24, 1942 in Palo Alto, Calif. to Hallie and Vernon "Bus" Bruce. She had three daughters, Colleen Neill Dominic, Michelle Marquis Rossi, and Kristine Marquis Ference. As a mother, her daughters describe her as the perfect mom. In 1985 she married Francis “Frank” Bosze. Bonnie loved to travel and especially loved to visit Costa Rica, where she perfected her Spanish and enjoyed the many traditions of Central America. She went on to teach herself French, German, and Mandarin. Friends and family knew Bonnie as a generous and thoughtful woman. She was quiet but had a sharp wit about her.

As a grandmother to Sam and Sydney Rossi, she would spend hours crafting the perfect adventure or treasure hunt. When the children arrived at her house, they would find an elaborate railroad throughout the living room for Sam's Thomas the Tank Engines. She shared her imagination and love of dolls with her granddaughter, Sydney, handcrafting one-of-a-kind dolls for herself and others. She was generous, kind, loving and fun. Her daughter, Colleen Dominic, preceded her in death in 1994.

Bonnie is buried in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield, Connecticut.
