Celeste Louise Smith

Celeste Louise Smith, a gifted vocalist and writer, passed away on May 23, 2015 in Palo Alto, surrounded by life-long friends. She was born in Seattle on November 6, 1949 to Louise and Thor Smith. She attended the Convent of the Sacred Heart in Menlo Park, CA and graduated from Palo Alto High School. Celeste was a long-time member and past president of the Woman's Century Club, Seattle. Her greatest joy was mentoring other women with breast cancer at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance. Services were held at Acacia Memorial Park, Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at 2:00 pm.

Celeste was a unique, talented, funny, caring, compassionate lady whom I was very blessed to call a friend. We met in French 1 class our Sophomore year at Paly. Her smile would light up the room. She is greatly missed!
