CAROL LEE TANNER

 August 20, 1948 - January 18, 2023

Carol Tanner, 74, of Denton, TX passed away peacefully on January 18, 2023, surrounded by her family and loved ones. Carol grew up in Palo Alto, a town she never forgot. and always thought of as home.  She worked as a Special Education Teacher for years.  While later opening a tax consulting business and ended her working life working for the Federal Emergency Management Agency.  Carol enjoyed crafting and (we believe) was secretly working to become a top Amazon Purchaser. Carol will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Carol was predeceased by parents, Art & Leora Tanner, and her husband David Hopp. She is survived by her two sons: Jaye Hopp (Jennifer), Tad Hop and Fiance, Bob. Carol requested a celebration of life be held in her honor as opposed to traditional funeral services. We request all of Carol’s loved one to join us in celebrating their beautiful life at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 2200 N Bell Ave, Denton TX 76209 on March 4th at 2 pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the National Kidney Foundation can be made in her Honor.
