Class of ‘63! Teenage years provided the angst; Paly and the 60’s provided the gestalt. We bumpily transitioned from culturally turgid 50’s, thru the Beat Gen, and plunked down at the leading edge of the convention-trashing, rambunctious Flower Power Gen. Preceded a few years by Joan Baez, accompanied by contemporaneous Grateful Dead classmates Ron McKernan (Pigpen) and Bill Kreutzman, we bravely took on Viet Nam/Tricky Dick(less)!
