JAMES WESLEY MARQUIS

 August 31, 1927 - September 25, 1988 (in Storey County, NV)

Jim was born on August 31, 1927 to Francis Marion "Doc" Marquis and Ilda Cecelia Widner Marquis in Stockton, California.  His father was a veterinarian.  He was the youngest of three boys: Victor Lawrence and Francis (Frank) Marion Marquis, Jr.

Jim went on to graduate from Stanford, and served as Principle in the San Bernardino County School District.  He had many accomplishments throughout his career in education. 

Jim was well-known for his incredible sense of humor.  He was intelligent, charismatic and enjoyed life.  

His remains are interred at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, Colma, San Mateo County, California
